We are going to study the final chapters of Genesis and focus specifically on Jospeh. Also, coming up, we will watch a video series on Jesus. Look for more information coming soon or contact revdavidmarshall@gmail.com
Summer Sunday School is off to a great start. The kids (and adult leaders) are memorizing a Bible verse and then sharing it with the congregation. Plus, there is singing and sometimes some dancing too. Come join the fun during our 10 am Arise! service.
Completed:
Abraham. We will study Abraham, the father of the Jewish faith, Christian faith, and the faith of Islam, starting in Genesis chapter 12 (technically Genesis 11:31), for three weeks in June. Starting on June 9 and ending on June 23. 9:30 am or 6:30 pm. All are welcome.
May 5th we will learn about the Reformation, it's continuing effect on our life, and the next Reformation which many believe we are in right now.
May 12 we will learn about how the Bible came into being. We will specifically look at the New Testament and why some books and letters were included and why others were not.
May 19 we will learn about Gnosticism. This fits conveniently into the third part of our series as the New Testament was created partly out of outlining the faith away from Gnosticism. We will hear a theological overview and read some well known Gnostic texts (that didn't make it into the Bible).
The classes are offered at 9:30 am or 6:30 pm. All are invited and welcome. Bring your questions and a friend!
Wednesday Series 9:30 am & 6:30 pm
