The ministries of Grace are vital to the mission and community of Grace. In serving others, we serve the Lord and find fellowship with each other. Young and old, everyone has something to contribute. Contact any of the ministry leaders below for information on getting involved.

For Newcomers

We welcome others because Christ has received us in his Grace. To learn more about the workings of evangelism at Grace Church, come and see what opportunities we have for you. For information regarding the Welcome Luncheon , becoming a Greeter at our Sunday Services, and delivering invitations or visitor bread baskets as our neighborhoods grow, leave a message for Craig Justice, our Evangelism Vestry Chairperson, at the church office, 744-7667.

Nursery and Childcare

Of course kids are ALWAYS welcome during the services, but for parents who would like a break childcare is always offered free at our Sunday worship service (9:30 AM).

Sunday School

Sunday morning classes are available for children age five through 8 th grade. Children over 8 th grade are encouraged to attend adult church services.

TIGHT "Teens In God's House Together" & Quarter Coffee

Teens at Grace meet at the church every Sunday night at 5:30 PM for Quarter Coffee and hang out for some fun and fellowship . It's a great way to meet all the teens at Grace and enjoy some great espresso drinks.

Immediately after quarter coffee our youth program, TIGHT night, starts! TIGHT nights include structured games, and activities, Bible lessons and music. It's a great way to end the weekend and prepare for another tough week at school!

Small Group Bible Studies

The study of God's Word and contemplation of the life of faith is an integral part of our responsibility as Christians. Grace offers several opportunities for study throughout the week. Contact the church office for more information.

Men's Prayer Group

Men of Grace are invited to meet in the Coach house every Saturday Morning at 8:30 AM for sharing and prayer. If you have the time bring your work gloves and stay a couple hours to help tackle building and facilities projects. Get to know other men in the church and help keep this historic landmark looking its best.

Women of Grace (more)

As a group ministry, The Women of Grace has been lead by different women; each bringing her own particular gifts and leadership style in loving service to other women. Our membership continues to be open to any and all females who have reached age of majority regardless of church or religious affiliation.

Our mission is to:

• Strengthen the bonds of friendship
• Develop projects and raise funds for charity
• Promote and encourage the talents of each woman

Music

The Grace Church Adult Choir and Praise Team minister by sharing musical gifts, assisting in worship, and by leading in the singing of hymns. In this they proclaim Christ's love in song and in word. Choir practice is held at the church every Thursday at 7 PM. Singers of any ability with the willingness to learn are welcome.

Pastoral Care

The mission of Pastoral Care Ministries is to further Grace Church's mission, "To Know Christ and Make Him Known," by seeking to ensure that each communicant of Grace is supported and comforted in times of stress and crisis. Our ministry is supplemental to pastoral care that can only be offered by a priest. Ours is a ministry of prayer and accompaniment.

Trips of Grace

Generally once a month, Father Bill announces a day trip to one of the many attractions and destinations in and around San Diego County. Trips often include lunch and a speaker or guide. Invitation is to anyone interested. Trips of Grace are a great opportunity to get out, get to know others in the church, and have a great time learning about the history and culture of San Diego. Watch for announcements in the monthly newsletter, 'Amazing Grace, and weekly church newsletter, 'Take Note'.
