Wedding Photography Policies and Procedures

Please read the following Policies and Procedures for photographers at Grace Episcopal Church Weddings and be sure that both you and the person(s) in charge of recording your wedding understand the church's requirements.

 A wedding is one of the most important events in the life of a bride and groom and we understand their desire to record it.  Relatives and friends are part of this solemn and beautiful Episcopal Service.  Therefore, the ceremony may only be videotaped from two designated positions in the church.

1. No photographs may be taken during the ceremony,
2. Plan on a photo session in the church immediately following the ceremony. 
3. Outside the Church - Photographs may be taken of the bridal party, up to 10 minutes before the wedding is scheduled to begin.
4. Photographs may be taken when the bridal party begins to process and until the bridal couple is introduced by the officiating clergy, and then they must cease.
5. The videographer must videotape from one position.

We ask that you limit this photo session to 30 minutes. The clergy are happy to be part of this photo session, but please take the photos that include them first.
