Nov 2: Día de los Muertos Ofrenda
Our annual Dia de los Muertos ofrenda will be set up in the church on Sunday, November 2, at both services. Please bring photos of your loved ones and pets who have passed on for the ofrenda. You may give them to Cynde on the Sunday before.

Nov 7-8: EDSD Convention
The 52nd meeting of Diocesan Convention in EDSD will be held November 7-8, 2025, at St. Dunstan’s Episcopal Church in San Diego. We’re gathering as a community to celebrate all we’ve accomplished and to look to the future of our work to share the good news of God in Christ with the world. While Convention is filled with moments of joy, connection, and worship, it’s also when we roll up our sleeves and do meaningful ministry together. Each year, we adopt a diocesan budget, elect leaders to roles such as the Executive Council, Standing Committee, and General Convention delegates, and vote on resolutions that shape our shared ministry

Nov 8: RefugeeNet Benefit Concert
Join RefugeeNet's second annual benefit concert at Good Samaritan, featuring an award-winning international youth orchestra. The reception starts at 4 p.m., with music at 4:30. Admission is free; donations are invited to support RefugeeNet's vital work in our community.

Nov 12: Eucharistic Visitor Training
Eucharistic Visitor Training prepares lay ministers to bring Holy Communion to those unable to attend worship in person. Participants will explore the theology of visitation, best practices for sharing Communion, and Safe Church-Safe Community guidelines. Whether you are new to this ministry or renewing your license, this training will equip you to carry Christ’s presence with care and compassion.

The bi-monthly Zoom meeting of the Diocesan Service & Justice Coalition will be held on Saturday, November 15 at 9:30 a.m. Join service & justice leaders from our many parishes and be inspired by everything we are doing to help others in our Diocese and beyond.

Nov 17-21: BellaTerra Retreat: The Heart Of The Journey
“The Heart of the Journey” takes place at two gorgeous properties in the "magic town" of Todos Santos, Mexico. SD based author and spiritual director, Beverly Peterson will be your guide to deepening a relationship of intimacy with God through contemplative practices and healing art.

Nov 12: Walking with Mary Advent Series
This three-week study offers the opportunity to pause and breathe; to walk with Mary as she prepares to bear God. With each step of her journey from angel’s greeting to the stable’s stillness, from wonder to worship, she makes God bare. We hope you will come and walk with Mary. And as we reflect on her response, may we find ourselves renewed in faith, ready to receive Christ who comes to us born in a manger, born to change the world.
